Meet Our Pastor

Bro. Sam Robinson was born on September 18, 1975, into a christian, and a military family.  His parents were saved as the result of a military ministry while his father served in the U.S. Navy for fifteen years. These factors laid the foundation for his love of God and Country. Though raised in church, and trained in christian schools, Bro. Sam was not saved until his senior year of high school in 1993.  He surrendered to the call to preach, and enrolled at the Massillon Baptist College in Ohio, in the fall of 1995. While in college, Bro. Sam met Wendy Post of Lansing, MI. They were married on June 21, 1997. Bro. Sam graduated with a degree in Theology in 1998, and joined the staff of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Rock Island, IL.  In March of 2000, he became the Sr. Pastor of LBC and served in that role until 2007 when he entered full time evangelism.  Bro. Sam Robinson has preached in hundreds of local church Revival Meetings, Bible Conferences, Youth Conferences and Camps, Christian School and Bible College Chapels. On May 16, 2014, Bro. Sam Robinson received a Doctorate of Divinity from the Midwestern Baptist College in Pontiac, Michigan.  After eight years on the revival road, God has led Bro. Robinson back into the pastorate.  On October 11, 2015, the people of Arnold Baptist Tabernacle unanimously called Bro. Robinson as their pastor.
